The aim of the project is develop low cost, strong and hygienic rural housing. The planning and choice of materials are done such a way so that the total cost stays below the government assistance (PMAY-G). The proposed solution is not only low cost and have very low environmental impact as well and high social sustainability. 

About the Instructor

Ms. Ankhiparna Guha is a PhD Scholar at the IIT Kanpur, working in the field of Structural Engineering.

She has completed her Master in Technology in Structural Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar. She has experience and interests in domains such as Stability of Structures, Structural Dynamics, Earthquake Analysis and Design of Structures, Special Topics of Structural Design, Engineering Mechanics.
